Board Positions
HESIRSC is currently seeking candidates to fill the positions of President and Vice President for the upcoming academic year 2025-26. Are you looking to connect with fellow students and IR professors? Liaise with other clubs and student government? Do you have ideas for future events or initiatives? The club is what YOU make it!
OPEN POSITIONS:
President – you will set the club’s vision and goals for the year, lead monthly board meetings, and generally help keep everything on track. You will serve as the primary liaison with OSA and HESA.
Vice President – you will help execute the club’s goals for the year, and ensure all club activities are successful. This position should partner with peers in other clubs to cross-collaborate wherever possible, and may represent the club at HESA events.
All board members will share responsibilities for social media, newsletters, and website updates until Communications Director and other board roles can be filled in the fall.
REQUIREMENTS:
You must be an admitted ALM candidate in the field of International Relations.
Serving as a board member is a volunteer position which requires an estimated average of three hours per week, varying based on meeting & events schedules. Please consider how you will incorporate HESIRSC service with your other school, work, and family commitments.
Please fill out the form below to tell us a little about yourself. The Office of Student Affairs will first verify your eligibility, and then outgoing board members will review candidates in conjunction with OSA and our advisor before making appointments. THANK YOU!
